Youthful Under-21s Face Bolton
Young Blues in action at the Reebok Stadium on Monday.
Conor McAleny has been handed his second successive start for Everton Under-21s in this evening’s game against Bolton Wanderers.
The striker, who recently returned from a broken leg, played his first full 90 minutes in seven months against Norwich City last week.
McAleny is again selected to spearhead Everton’s attack at the Reebok Stadium, alongside Courtney Duffus and Hallam Hope.
Joe Williams, Ryan Ledson and Matthew Kennedy operate in midfield for Alan Stubbs’ young Blues.
At the back, Ibou Touray, Matthew Pennington, Tyias Browning and Luke Garbutt act as protection for Mason Springthorpe in goal.
Bolton include Stuart Holden and Josh Vela in their starting line-up – both players who boast Premier League experience.
