Midfielder James McCarthy says the weekend return of Romelu Lukaku has served as a fillip to the entire Everton dressing room.
The giant Belgian had been missing for five games having damaged an ankle in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.
But the 20-year-old underlined his importance to the Toffees, stepping off the bench to net a timely winner against West Ham as Everton moved back into the Premier League's top six.
"Obviously Romelu came on and made a difference and we're all delighted for him in the dressing room,” McCarthy told evertontv. “Hopefully now we can try to kick on.
"He's a massive boost and it's brilliant to have him back. He's a natural goalscorer.
"I thought Naisy did brilliantly up front as well, and when Romelu came on they worked well together.
"Romelu will be a big plus now until the end of the season and he'll score goals.
"It's always great to get players back from injury and hopefully we can get Antolin [Alcaraz] and Jags back quickly as well and we can try to push on."
McCarthy headed to Ireland after the game, where he was presented with the FAI's Young International Player of the Year award on Sunday night.
The 23-year-old will now begin preparations for his nation's home fixture against Serbia on Wednesday before switching his attention to Saturday's mammoth FA Cup quarter-final at Arsenal.
Blues teammates Seamus Coleman and Aiden McGeady have also been included in Martin O'Neill's squad and McCarthy said: "We've got Serbia, it won't be easy, it will be another tough game.
"But hopefully we can get another win under our belts and then come back ready for FA Cup duty."

Joanna OldhamBut what is going to to happen when he returns to Chelsea at the end of the season? Huge boots to fill. Let's hope he stays but not overly optimistic of that. COYB.
