What The Papers Say - 26 February
A round-up of what the day's papers are saying about the Blues.
The views on this page are taken from the local and national media and do not necessarily reflect the views of Everton.
Wednesday's papers pick up on the previous day's injury update on Lacina Traore.
The Express says Traore's loan move has turned into a ‘nightmare' despite Roberto Martinez confirming the striker would be out for weeks not months.
Meanwhile, in the Liverpool Echo, Martinez has been praising the work ethic of Aiden McGeady as the January signing pushes for more Blues action. The boss says the winger can take Everton's forward play to ‘a different level'.
Also in the Echo, the manager insists he won't be making special representations to the football authorities over a number of contentious refereeing decisions which have cost Everton points in recent weeks.
