Today's newspapers focus largely on Tuesday's Merseyside derby at Anfield.
In the Liverpool Echo, Everton boss Roberto Martinez concedes his side failed to perform to their usual level during the defeat and also confirms that striker Romelu Lukaku is set to be assessed further after sustaining an ankle injury midway through the first half.
The paper also reports that former Blues striker Lukas Jutkiewicz has returned to the North West to join Bolton Wanderers on loan from Championship rivals Middlesbrough.
