Oviedo In Hospital

Bryan Oviedo has been taken to hospital with a double leg break.

The Costa Rican international sustained the injury in a tackle with Stevenage midfielder Simon Heslop during the first half of the Blues’ FA Cup fourth round clash.

Everton medical staff have confirmed the defender has broken his tibia and fibula in his left leg.

Oviedo will remain in hospital over the weekend and have an operation on Monday.
