Boss Makes Cup Changes
Boss hands starts to Robles, Stones, Hibbert, Naismith and McGeady.
Aiden McGeady makes his first start for Everton in this evening’s FA Cup tie against Stevenage.
The Irish international winger, signed from Spartak Moscow earlier in the month, made his debut with a cameo appearance in the league match with West Brom on Monday but starts against the League One side.
McGeady is one of five changes made by boss Roberto Martinez, who also selects Tony Hibbert to replace the missing Seamus Coleman.
Elsewhere, in comes John Stones to partner Phil Jagielka at the heart of the defence, with Steven Naismith coming into the midfield.
Joel Robles also starts ahead of Tim Howard.
On the bench, youngsters Magaye Gueye, Apostolos Vellios and Conor McAleny join the more experienced John Heitinga and Leon Osman.
Everton (to face Stevenage): Robles, Hibbert, Baines, Jagielka (c), McGeady, Oviedo, Mirallas, Naismith, McCarthy, Barry, Stones.
