Warwick Wealth Jelavic Starts Against QPR

Nikica Jelavic is recalled to the Everton team as Roberto Martinez makes five changes from the starting line-up named against Stoke City for the FA Cup third round tie with Queens Park Rangers.

It’s the Croatian’s 50th start for the Toffees in all competitions.

Also coming into the Everton side are Joel Robles, Bryan Oviedo, Steven Naismith and Leon Osman, who will wear the captain’s armband.

The men to make way are Tim Howard, Leighton Baines, Kevin Mirallas, Steven Pienaar and Romelu Lukaku.

With Phil Jagielka and Sylvain Distin out with hamstring injuries, John Stones and Antolin Alcaraz continue their centre-half partnership.

Former Blues Richard Dunne and Andy Johnson are amongst the QPR substitutes.
