Martinez Vows To Attack
Boss: Everton will continue to attack top teams away from home.
Roberto Martinez believes Everton's win at Manchester United shows his side are ready to take the attack to any side in the division.
In recent years the Blues' record away to the Premier League's top sides has shown room for improvement, with Wednesday's win at Old Trafford the first victory at that venue in 21 years.
Martinez was desperate for his side to show attacking intent in the champions' back-yard and the players duly obliged.
And with a trip to Arsenal on Sunday next up for the Blues, the boss says his side are buoyant.
The manager told evertontv: "We had to break that mentality and I thought we were outstanding in the manner in which we played the game.
"This squad has shown that it has got the arrogance and the belief to work hard and make our fans proud and that's very important for us."
Arsenal currently top the table but the only two teams they have lost against in the league this term - Aston Villa and United - have been beaten by Everton.
Martinez continued: "We all know every game is difficult. After the final whistle you collect the three points and the good feelings but you know you are starting from scratch in the next game in terms of having to work hard."
Everton will be back at Goodison Park on 14 December to take on Fulham. Click here to book your seat to join them.
