Cahill's Potters Smash And Grab
We look back to a 3-2 win over Stoke in 2008.
Everton recorded a dramatic 3-2 win over this weekend's opponents Stoke City back in 2008.
The game was Marouane Fellaini's first for Everton but it was another Blues' record signing - Yakubu - who opened the scoring just before half time.
Seyi Olofinjana levelled after the break only for Victor Anichebe to become the third Nigerina scorer of the afternoon when he glanced Everton back in front.
The Potters rallied again when Phil Jagielka diverted into his own net to make it 2-2.
Then the Toffees were denied a penalty with a fuming David Moyes sent to the stand for his reaction to the denial.
But it would eventually matter not as Tim Cahill rose to snatch three points for his side with 13 minutes left.
