Mixed results for Blues
Six of Everton's stars were in action tonight as a number of internatonal friendlies took place across Europe.
At Wembley, Leighton Baines played 90 minutes as England lost to an Alexis Sanchez-inspired Chile.
Baines was beaten to the ball by the Barcelona striker when he nodded the visitors into an early lead after just seven minutes.
While the Three Lions did create a couple of chances, the South Americans were largely untroubled and added a second to seal the win when Sanchez cleverly chipped Fraser Forster.
One plus was a bright cameo from Ross Barkley, who replaced Adam Lallana on 77 minutes.
Coleman, who played the full 90, and McCarthy both started against Lativa, with the Blues midfielder making way for Kevin Doyle after 81 minutes.
