Hibbo Set For Goodison Run-Out
Defender in line to play for Under-21s on Monday.
Tony Hibbert will get another opportunity to improve his match fitness when Everton Under-21s take on Manchester United at Goodison Park on Monday.
The right-back endured an injury-hit start to the season but played the full 90 minutes as Alan Stubbs' side racked up a 2-1 victory at Blackburn Rovers last time out.
Now Hibbert is expected to start again as one of three permitted overage outfield players when the young Blues get the chance to extend their unbeaten run to five matches.
The game at Goodison will be free for all supporters to attend, with manager Roberto Martinez and his first-team players set to be involved in a number of pre-match activities aimed at the Club's youngest fans.
On the pitch, Stubbs says his side should have no fear of their high-profile opponents, insisting his current crop have more than enough quality to maintain their recent good form.
"It's going to be a tough test but I'm hoping it's going to be a tough test for them too," Stubbs told evertontv. "I don't want the players to fear Man United coming to Everton, because they've got nothing to fear.
"If the players go out and perform and do what they've been doing and not let the fact that it's United affect them, they can get a result, I've got no doubts about that whatsoever.
"But sometimes we look at the name and we suddenly think they've got better players than us, when it's not necessarily the case.
"And, even if they do, that doesn't mean we can't work hard, get in their faces and stop them from playing, it doesn't mean we should stop doing the things we've been doing really well lately.
"It's Manchester United coming to Goodison but nothing changes as far as I'm concerned."
Martinez, Phil Jagielka, Kevin Mirallas and Gerard Deulofeu will all be among the names appearing in the Goodison Park Fan Zone before the game, with FIFA 14 on the big screens just one of a range of events taking place on the evening.
