Duo tipped to start for England, League Two star linked.

What The Papers Say - 15 October

Predictably, England's crunch World Cup qualifying clash with Poland is the focus of attention in Tuesday's newspapers, with the Times, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph and Independent among those predicting both Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines will start for the Three Lions.

The Daily Mirror also expect the duo to be named in Roy Hodgson's starting line up and they say Baines' battle with Borussia Dortmund winger Jakub Błaszczykowski could be key to his side's hopes of victory.

And continuing the international theme, the Mirror report that Everton boss Roberto Martinez was among the first people to call striker Romelu Lukaku with congratulations after he fired Belgium to next summer's tournament in Brazil with a brace against Croatia on Friday.

In the Telegraph, Everton are linked with a move for Chesterfield midfielder Tendayi Darikwa, who was also watched by Manchester United manager David Moyes at Fleetwood on Saturday. It is believed it would take a fee of £1.5million to land the Nottingham-born 21-year-old.

Elsewhere, Gareth Barry features in today's Liverpool Echo, saying he was thrilled to come out on top in a poll to discover who fans feel has been the Blues' most impressive summer signing.

And, in the same paper, former Toffees star Ian Snodin says that the Republic of Ireland's decision to make Seamus Coleman captain for Friday's game in Germany hints at a new maturity to the full-back's game.
