Kevin Mirallas hopes he and Romelu Lukaku can use their understanding on the pitch to become a lethal goalscoring duo.

Mirallas assisted Lukaku's dramatic winner at West Ham after the striker himself had played the winger in earlier in the move.

With Newcastle arriving at Goodison on Monday, he hopes Lukaku will be keen to return the favour!

He told evertontv: "Monday will be difficult because Newcastle are a good team but we are at home and we want the victory.

"It was a good assist for my friend Lukaku but maybe on Monday he will assist for me!

"I feel we have a good understanding. He is my friend off the pitch and so on the pitch it is normal that we have a good understanding because we have been playing together for five years [for Belgium].

"Newcastle have good players like Cabaye, Ben Arfa and Cisse but at home we will be strong.

"To play at home is very good because the atomosphere is fantastic and the people here are unbelievable."
