Everton boss Roberto Martinez is full of praise for long-serving midfielder Leon Osman in today's Liverpool Echo.

The Spaniard confirms the England international remains integral to his plans despite the arrivals of Gareth Barry and James McCarthy, saying his longevity and attitude mean he 'represents' Everton.

In the same paper, Martinez has also hailed the crowd at Goodison Park, reiterating his belief the fans helped push his side over the line in Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Chelsea.

The Daily Telegraph report that the Club are backing this weekend's campaign to kick homophobia out of football, with the players set to wear rainbow laces against West Ham United at Upton Park.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror say that Everton have sent scouts to check out Derby midfielder and Liverpool target Will Hughes.
