What The Papers Say - 6 September
Martinez and Sharp feature in Friday's round-up.

After a frenetic few days, Everton coverage in Friday’s papers is much quieter.
In the Liverpool Echo, Roberto Martinez has been speaking about how he intends not to replicate just any style of football but create a ‘unique’ brand at Everton. He states, however, that this will take time to implement.
The Echo also include quotes from former Blues frontman Graeme Sharp about the first time he saw Romelu Lukaku in action for Anderlecht three years ago.
Nationally, the tabloids and broadsheets look ahead to this evening’s World Cup qualifier at Wembley between England and Moldova. Roy Hodgson last night confirmed that Blues captain Phil Jagielka will partner Gary Cahill in central defence.
There are also write-ups on last night’s Under-21s Euro qualifier. Gareth Southgate’s first match in charge of The Young Lions ended in a 1-0 victory over Moldova, with John Stones playing the full 90 minutes.
