Tuesday's newspapers reflect on a frantic transfer deadline day, with much of the evening's activity taking place at Goodison Park.

Most of the nationals managed to file their copy soon after the Blues had confirmed the signings of James McCarthy, Romelu Lukaku and Gareth Barry as well as the departures of Marouane Fellaini and Victor Anichebe.

As such, today's editions are awash with the news from Finch Farm, with the likes of the Guardian, the Times and the Daily Express praising the Club's late dealings.

Elsewhere, the Liverpool Echo profile the new trio and talk in length about the comings and goings on Merseyside.

The Echo also report on Everton Under-21s' Monday night victory over Reading while there's the news that former Blues winger Robert Warzycha has been sacked by MLS side Columbus Crew.
