Gerard Deulofeu, Joel Robles and John Stones will make their Everton debuts in this evening’s Capital One Cup second round tie against Stevenage (7.45pm kick off).

Summer signing Arouna Kone is also named in the Blues starting line-up.

In total manger Roberto Martinez has made eight changes from the team that was named against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.

Bryan Oviedo, John Heitinga, Steven Naismith and Tony Hibbert get their first starts of the campaign against the League One club.

The only players who keep their place in the side from the scoreless draw with the Baggies are captain Phil Jagielka, Ross Barkley and Leon Osman.

Everton: Robles, Hibbert, Heitinga, Jagielka (c), Oviedo, Kone, Deulofeu, Naismith, Barkley, Osman, Stones (Subs: Baines, Jelavic, Mirallas, Distin, Coleman, Howard, Fellaini).

Stevenage:
Day, Ashton (c), Dunne, Charles, Freeman, Smith, Gray, Doughty, Hartley, Shroot, Deacon (Subs: Arnold, Jones, Burrow, Heslop, Tansey, Tounkara, Haber)

Joel Curranim a little nervous about this side.... Yet excited to see a few faces. Is Heitinga in the holding midfield position? Not too sure with Hibbert and Stones, im guessing Stones will play inside of him.
