Everton boss Roberto Martinez is on the hunt for a new midfielder, according to today's newspapers.
The Daily Mail claim the Blues are in discussions with former Liverpool, Juventus and PSG enforcer Momo Sissoko over a free transfer.
The same article suggests Martinez is also keen on Wigan's James McCarthy and winger Aiden McGeady of Spartak Moscow.
Elsewhere in the same paper, Everton are mentioned as potential suitors for Valencia's 24-year-old winger Pablo Piatti. Southampton, Celtic and Rennes are also thought to be interested, though it is believed Piatti would prefer to stay in Spain.
