In addition, The Echo has reported on the filming at Finch Farm of the new reality TV show, Chinese Football Dream. Graeme Sharp has been involved with the project which is backed by the Chinese government. The show will air in China in September and its aim is to help develop the football skills of players aged between 14 and 17.
And finally, The Echo runs a story regarding Everton legend Derek Temple and his aim to help raise awareness of the ‘silent killer’ Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA).
Elsewhere, The Times and Guardian link Toby Alderweireld to a number of Premier League clubs including Everton, while the Daily Mail connects Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Dann to the Toffees amid interest from Turkey in John Heitinga.
