Ladies Trio Get Under-19 Call
Parris, Williams and Durack heading to European Championships.
Everton Ladies will be well represented at the Under-19s European Championships later this month as three young Blues were called up to Mo Marley’s England squad.
Marley, left her role as Toffees boss before the start of this season’s WSL campaign to focus on her international responsibilities, has named forward Nikita Parris, defender Paige Williams and goalkeeper Lizzie Durack for the tournament in Wales.
The Young Lions face Denmark, France and host nation Wales in Group A from 19 to 25 August.
Marley believes that Parris will have a big say in any success her side will have in Wales.
She said: “Nikita is a professional player in every aspect and has been in the Under-19s for a lot longer than the rest of the girls.
"Everyone kind of acknowledges Nikita because she scores goals, but there's a lot more to her game; she leads and defends from the front as well.
“But it's not just about one particular player, it's about the whole team, and the whole team have sought to improve individually, Nikita included.”
