Jags: No Better Full-Backs
Captain rates Coleman and Baines as the best in England.
Phil Jagielka believes Everton's full-back pairing is the best in the Premier League.
Leighton Baines was the Blues player of the season, while Seamus Coleman returned from injury to deliver a string of eye-catching displays in the second half of the campaign.
And Jagielka insists there's no better duo in England's top flight.
Asked if there was a more complete pair of full-backs in the Premier League, he told evertontv: "I don't think so. I think Bainesy, rightfully so, has been taking all the plaudits he has been mr consistency for the last few seasons.
"But, quietly going about his business, is Seamus and I am delighted for him. He's such a great lad off the pitch that he deserves all the success on it."
Jagielka believes his junior teammate is improving based on a newly instilled sense of self-belief.
He continued: "Now, I think he is beginning to realise how much of a good player he is and how much of a good player we think he is - not only the players and the staff but the fans ads well.
"You hope he continues his form and continues his confidence because that is a massive part of his game."
Jagielka, Baines and Coleman are next in action on Saturday when Everton play the second match of their US tour against either Real Madrid or LA Galaxy - a game you can watch LIVE on evertontv. Click here for more details.
