With less than four weeks now remaining until the start of the new Premier League campaign, Everton are being linked with moves for two players in today’s newspapers.

The Daily Mail believe the Blues remain in the hunt for Swansea defender Ashley Williams, who is also reported to be attracting interest from Arsenal and Liverpool. The paper claim the Swans are already looking at potential replacements for Williams as manager Michael Laudrup expects the 28-year-old Wales captain to leave the Liberty Stadium.

The same newspaper also say Roberto Martinez is considering a move for his second Kone of the summer with Le Mans’ unrelated 19-year-old centre-back Mory a target. The Blues are thought to be preparing an £850,000 bid.

The Daily Mail also suggest striker Nikica Jelavic is a £6m target for German outfit Hamburg.

Meanwhile, in Monday’s Liverpool Echo, Everton assistant manager Graeme Jones says he is confident Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman can flourish as attacking wing-backs next season.

The same paper also report on Martinez’s attendance at yesterday’s goalless draw between Everton Under-21s and Nottingham Forest and the Under-18s’ impressive triumph in the Gothia Cup

Gerryn CaddClement Chantome would be a great signing!
