Tuesday’s local and national newspapers are dominated by transfer speculation.
The Daily Mail and Daily Mirror report that new Wigan manager Owen Coyle has issued a hands-off warning to Everton counterpart Roberto Martinez.
The Blues have been linked with Latics duo James McCarthy and Arouna Kone in recent days but Coyle has said none of his players will be leaving the DW Stadium on the cheap.
Elsewhere, the Liverpool Echo report that Martinez is targeting two or three players with the right personalities to fit into his squad.
The Echo also claim Everton have received no bids for midfielder Marouane Fellaini despite reported interest from a host of European clubs.
One player who has departed Goodison Park is Jake Bidwell, who yesterday made his loan deal to Brentford permanent. The youngster made just one appearance for the Blues, against BATE Borisov in 2009, and the Echo take a look at the other youngsters who played alongside him that night.
Finally, the Echo and The Guardian report on the news that Everton Ladies trio Rachel Brown-Finnis, Jill Scott and Toni Duggan have all received England call-ups for next month's European Championships in Sweden.
