Bidwell Joins Bees
Defender completes permanent move to Griffin Park.
Jake Bidwell has today joined Brentford on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The teenager was on loan at the League One outfit for the vast majority of last season, helping them to the play-off final where they lost to Yeovil Town.
Bidwell, 20, came through Everton's Academy and was also on loan at Griffin Park for the second half of the 2011/12 campaign.
He has penned a three-year deal with the Bees, where he will join fellow Blues youth-team product Adam Forshaw.
Bidwell arrived at Everton aged 11 and made one senior appearance - in a Europa League tie against BATE Borisov in December 2009. Aged just 16 years and 271 days, he became the youngest ever player to represent the Blues in Europe.
He later captained the Club's Under-18s side to the Premier Academy League title in 2011.
A former England youth international, Bidwell has already managed 70 appearances for Brentford over his two loan spells.
