Bidwell Loan Extended
Jake Bidwell

Jake Bidwell will be able to play for Brentford in the League One play-off final after his loan deal was extended until the end of the season.

The Bees face Yeovil Town in the promotion decider at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 19 May.

Having been denied automatic promotion by Doncaster Rovers, Brentford overcame Swindon Town in the play-off semi-finals on penalties after the tie finished 4-4 on aggregate over two legs, with Bidwell featuring in both games.

The left-back, 20, joined the League One side in August on an initial one-month deal, with his temporary spell extended on several occasions throughout the course of the season.

Everton's Academy graduate spent much of last season on loan with Uwe Rosler's side and has made 49 appearances this term, one of which was at Stamford Bridge in an FA Cup fourth round replay against Chelsea.
