'Whoever Gets The Job Is A Very Lucky Man'
Neville: New Blues boss will be taking one of country's top jobs.
Everton's next manager will be taking on one of the top jobs in the country, according to Phil Neville.
Blues officials are currently searching for a new boss to take the reins from David Moyes when he moves to Manchester United this summer.
Moyes has achieved much since arriving at Goodison Park 11 years ago - with the work he has done meaning the next incumbent of the Finch Farm manager's office will be in a privileged position.
"They are big shoes to fill but it is also one of the top jobs in England. Whoever gets the job is a very lucky man," Neville told evertontv.
"It's a massive, massive gap to fill. But what I would say is that it is no different to David Moyes replacing Sir Alex Ferguson .
"The foundations here at this club are solid. The best chairman in the league without a shadow of a doubt, he gives his manager freedom to do whatever he wants in terms of the team, he backs his manager to the hilt."
Moyes will also leave his successor an experienced but ambitious squad which Neville - who is also set to bid farewell to Goodison this summer - believes will help ease the introduction of a new boss.
The veteran continued: "We have got an unbelievable training ground and we have got a group of players who I would have thought are the easiest group to manage in terms of their attitudes.
"They don't give you problems; you don't see them coming out of nightclubs, they don't go spouting off in the newspapers. The core of the team is solid and we have got some good young players coming through."
