The eighth annual Everton End of Season Awards are drawing ever nearer with the Club's most glamorous night of the year now just a few weeks away.

Blues heroes past and present will congregate at St George’s Hall in Liverpool city centre on Thursday 16 May - three days before the Blues' final game of the Premier League season against Chelsea - to honour and celebrate all the achievements of the past nine months of the 2012/13 campaign.

You can vote now for your player, young player and goal of the season by clicking here.

To get you thinking about your choices, evertonfc.com has taken a look at the three categories.

Player of the Season

As always seems the case, there are a whole host of candidates vying for the most prestigious of all the awards.

In goal, Tim Howard has proven to be reliable as ever, missing just two Premier League games all season to take his appearance total for Everton over the 300-game mark.

The American has been marshalling a backline which includes Leighton Baines, who many believe should now be England’s first choice left-back after a season which has seen the 28-year-old tally an impressive seven goals to date.

Another man who has continued to excel for both club and country is Phil Jagielka, while the evergreen Sylvain Distin – the first overseas outfield player to reach 400 Premier League appearances - has been rewarded for another superb year with an extended contract.

Fellaini NorwichWho will you vote as player of the season?

The past couple of months have witnessed Seamus Coleman nail down the right-back role, playing just behind Kevin Mirallas whose goals during March showed just why David Moyes wanted to bring him to the Premier League from Olympiakos last summer.

Leon Osman was finally rewarded with his long overdue first senior England cap and Marouane Fellaini has terrorised and overpowered some of the Premier League’s best defenders to score some crucial goals in key matches for the Blues.

In attack, Victor Anichebe is targeting double figures for the first time in his Everton career, while Nikica Jelavic has still managed to find the net on eight occasions.

Who has been the cream of the crop? Maybe none of the above? Maybe you have your own contender in mind? Click here to vote now.

Goal of the Season

What do you look for in a great goal - the timing, the build-up or the execution? Perhaps all of these components?

Steven Pienaar’s stunning strike at home to Reading, Leighton Baines’ netbusting free-kick at Newcastle and Leon Osman’s wonderful 30-yard curler to sink Champions Manchester City are all strikes worthy to win this award on their own merit.

Then there’s Kevin Mirallas’ 70-yard solo effort against Stoke and Nikica Jelavic’s dramatic late winner at home to Spurs – so many to select from.

The final shortlist has been drawn up from goal of the month winners and Graeme Sharp's deserving wildcards and you can click here to vote now.

Kevin Mirallas GoalWhere does Mirallas' individual stike rank in your top goals of the season?

Young Player of the Season

With any player aged 23 or under in contention for this award, there are a number of names to consider as would-be winners.

Ross Barkley has showcased his potential with a series of substitute appearances in David Moyes’ first team.

Bryan Oviedo has shown positive signs of adjusting to life in the Premier League while there have been fleeting glances of the likes of Shane Duffy, Apostolos Vellios and Luke Garbutt.
