George Green has been named in the England Under-17 squad for this month's Euro Elite Qualifying Round fixtures.

The Blues youngster, who signed his first professional deal with the Club in January, was selected by boss John Peacock for three games on home soil.

The 18-man group host Portugal, Russia and Slovenia, with just one of the four nations able to earn a place at May's European Championship finals in Slovakia.

The Young Lions take on Portugal at Walsall's Bescot Stadium on 23 March, before travelling to Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium two days later.

The trio of fixtures concludes in Burton against Slovenia on 28 March.

Goalkeepers: Angus Gunn (Manchester City), Freddie Woodman (Newcastle United). Defenders: Josh Aina (Chelsea), Joseph Gomez (Charlton Athletic), Connor Ogilvie (Tottenham Hotspur), Ashley Smith-Brown (Manchester City) Ben O'Hanlon (Wolverhampton Wanderers). Midfielders: Bamidele Alli (MK Dons), Kean Bryan (Manchester City), Charlie Colkett (Chelsea), Bryn Morris (Middlesbrough), Ruben Loftus Cheek (Chelsea), Dan Crowley (Aston Villa). Forwards: Isaiah Brown (West Bromwich Albion), Mason Bennett (Derby County), George Green (Everton), Alex Kiwomya (Chelsea), Jerome Sinclair (Liverpool).
