Bidwell's Brentford Loan Extended

Defender to spend another month with the Bees.

Jake Bidwell's loan spell at Brentford has today been extended by a further month.

The left-back has been with the Bees since September last year but was due to return to Goodison Park on Wednesday.

A deal has now been struck to extend that stay until 6 April, meaning Bidwell can continue helping Uwe Rosler's side with their League One promotion push.

The Southport-born 19-year-old has so far made 38 appearances this term as the Griffin Park outfit have climbed to fifth in the table and within just four points of leaders Doncaster Rovers.

Bidwell also spent much of last season on loan with the Londoners, racking up 25 first-team outings.
