Everton are aiming to record their second home victory within the space of four days when Reading, who are winless in their last three matches, visit Goodison Park this weekend.

Here we preview Saturday's Premier League fixture with the help of stats, facts and numbers…

1Victory for the Toffees in their last six Premier League matches. This was against West Bromwich Albion at Goodison Park the end of January.

2 Previous meetings between Everton and Reading at Goodison in the Premier League. These were a 1-1 draw in January 2007 - remembered for a guest appearance from Sylvester Stallone – and a 1-0 Everton victory 12 months later, thanks to a first league goal for the Toffees from Phil Jagielka.

3 Goals scored by Reading manager Brian McDermott against Everton, all for Arsenal at Highbury in three separate matches between 1980 and 1982.

5 Times this season Everton players have scored twice in a game, curiously all netting both their goals in the same half. Kevin Mirallas, Nikica Jelavic and Leighton Baines all scored their braces in the first half against Leyton Orient, Southampton and West Brom respectively. Marouane Fellaini has notched a double on two occasions this term – against Fulham in the first half and against Aston Villa in the second.

Jagielka Reading GoalPhil Jagielka scores his first Everton goal against Reading in 2008.

9 Previous meetings with Reading in all competitions. The Toffees lost the most recent meeting in November (2-1 at the Madejski Stadium) and the last at Goodison Park (1-0 in the FA Cup in March 2011).

82 Years since the two clubs first met. This was in the old second division in 1930/31 – the Toffees secured the double that season, winning 2-0 away and 3-2 at home.

Arteta Goal 700Mikel Arteta scores against Manchester United in Everton's 700th Premier League game. Who will net in the Club's 800th this Saturday?
400 Saturday is our 400th home match since the inauguration of the Premier League. The first in that sequence was a 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on 15 August 1992. Nigel Pearson put the Owls ahead before Barry Horne equalised a minute before half-time.

800 Premier League matches for the Toffees on Saturday. A total of 282 so far have been won (167 under David Moyes) with 287 defeats.   There may be a similarly dramatic ending to match our 700th game – the 3-3 draw at Goodison against Manchester United in September 2010 that saw the Toffees net twice in second-half injury time.
