Felli Fears Allayed
Round says Belgian's knock is 'not serious'.
Steve Round has provided assurances Marouane Fellaini’s absence from the starting line-up will not be a long one.
Fellaini sat out Everton's FA Cup replay win over Oldham on Tuesday night as the Blues booked a last-eight berth and a home tie with Wigan.
Before that game, Reading visit Goodison Park in the Premier League this Saturday.
And assistant boss Round remains hopeful Fellaini will be involved.
“Marouane is not serious,” he said. “He has a good chance for this weekend.
“He will definitely be fit enough for Wigan next week we think.”
Everton's FA Cup quarter-final against Wigan will take place at Goodison Park on Saturday 9 March, kick off 12.45pm. For ticket information, click here.
