Anichebe Remains A Doubt
Victor Anichebe
Victor Anichebe remains a doubt for Everton's FA Cup replay against Oldham on Tuesday.
Anichebe missed the game against Norwich at the weekend after coming off at half-time in the first game against the Latics 10 days ago.
David Moyes also revealed he will check the fitness of 'one or two' other players on Tuesday, but said he expected the squad to be similar to that which travelled to Carrow Road.
He said at a press conference on Monday: "We are much the same as Saturday. We have a doubt over Victor Anichebe and we picked up a couple of injuries on Saturday which I will need to check on.
"I will check them tomorrow and see how they are."
Moyes is, however, likely to be able to call on Seamus Coleman again after the Irishman returned from injury with a positive showing in East Anglia.
The manager admitted the return of the right-back has eased his defensive selection worries.
"Seamus has never got a problem with his fitness because he is a fit and athletic lad," explained Moyes.
"It's just getting him back into the football and getting him back playing. He did well at the weekend. Him and Tony Hibbert have been a massive miss for us. We have had to juggle things round for the last month so it's been awkward for us."
Hibbert is a long-term injury absentee having undergone calf surgery in December.
