Hammar Loaned To Stockport
Swedish defender heads to Edgeley Park on one-month deal.
Johan Hammar has today joined Stockport County on a one-month loan.
The defender, 18, heads to Edgeley Park in search of first-team football and could make his debut when the Hatters entertain Lincoln City on Tuesday.
A Sweden Under-19 international, Hammar joined Everton from Malmo FF in July 2010, signing a full-time scholarship with the Club.
A one-time regular for the Blues’ Under-18s, he has progressed through to Alan Stubbs’ Under-21 squad this term, making eight appearances to date.
Darije Kalezić’s Hatters currently sit 17th in the Blue Square Premier division, five points above the relegation zone and 16 points adrift of the play-off places.
