Ladies Double At England Awards
Duggan and Greenwood scoop accolades at inaugural event.
Toni Duggan and Alex Greenwood earned an Everton Ladies double at the FA England awards on Sunday evening.
The Blues duo were in attendance at the inaugural event at the recently-unveiled St George's Park National Football Centre - and both picked up individual gongs.
Striker Duggan received the England Women's Under-23 Player of the Year after leading the attack for the Three Lionesses and subsequently earning her first senior caps.
Full-back Greenwood was named England Women's Youth Player of the Year, making 14 appearances for the Under-19s and helping the team progress to the 2012 European Finals in Turkey.
Both players came through Everton Ladies' Centre of Excellence and are regular first-teamers ahead of the new WSL season.
Meanwhile, John Lundstram was shortlisted for the England Men's Youth Player of the Year, an accolade won by Chelsea's Nathaniel Chalobah.
Senior England internationals Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka and Leon Osman were also at the event, with the Three Lions now set to prepare for their friendly against Brazil on Wednesday.
