Felli Wants Baggies Revenge
Goodison crowd can help us beat West Brom, says Belgian.
Marouane Fellaini has called on the Goodison faithful to roar Everton to victory on Wednesday evening.
The Blues welcome West Bromwich Albion for midweek Premier League action, with both sides looking to maintain a push for a place in Europe.
The Baggies inflicted a 2-0 defeat on David Moyes' side at the Hawthorns in September, but Fellaini insists the Toffees' home support can help them enact revenge under the floodlights.
He told evertontv: "West Brom have had a good season. They started well and so did Everton. It's going to be a good, tight game on Wednesday. We have a good chance because we are at home.
"I like to play at night because you have a lot of time to rest in the day. I hope it's a great game and that the fans help us to win.
"A lot of other big teams want to play Champions League like Arsenal and Tottenham, but this season everybody wants to win a place and we are working hard to get there."
With the dramatic 2-1 win at Bolton in the FA Cup coming off the back of two goalless draws in the league, the Blues have had goalkeeper Tim Howard to thank for consecutive clean sheets.
And while Fellaini knows the significance of a tight defence, the Club's leading goalscorer for the season insists the squad must rediscover their golden touch as the fixtures continue to come thick and fast.
He said: "It's important to not concede but it's also important to score the goals if you want to win the game. The team want to win every game and we try to. I hope against West Brom we can score and get three points.
"You want to recover quickly, because we play every three days. The recuperation is important but this is football and you want to play every game.
"The team started the season well so we have the confidence and that is important if you want to win each game."
