Youth Cup Tie Called Off

Under-18s' meeting with Port Vale postponed for third time.

Everton's FA Youth Cup meeting with Port Vale has been postponed for a third time due to the freezing weather.

The Blues' Under-18s were scheduled to travel to Vale Park for a 2pm kick off but the tie was called off early on Saturday morning.

The fourth round fixture was originally due to be played on Tuesday 15 January but fell victim to a frozen pitch.

The rearranged fixture on Tuesday 22 January also had to be postponed and a fourth date for the tie is yet to be set.

The prize for the eventual victors is a trip to either Arsenal or Fulham in round five.
