Coleman Named In ROI Squad

Full-back in line for friendly against Poland in February.

Seamus Coleman has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for next month's friendly against Poland.

The right-back retains his place in Giovanni Trapatonni’s group after consistently impressive performances for Everton this season.

The game in Dublin on Wednesday 6 February will help prepare the national side for two important fixtures in March.

The qualification process for the 2014 World Cup resumes with a trip to Stockholm to face Sweden on 22 March, before the Irish welcome Austria to Dublin four days later.
