Port Vale clash postponed due to frozen pitch.

Everton's FA Youth Cup fourth round meeting with Port Vale has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The clash at Vale Park was due to take place on Tuesday evening but has now been resheduled for Tuesday 22 January, 7pm kick-off.

A freezing night in Staffordshire led to heavy frost and the decision to call the game off was taken following an early morning pitch inspection.

Kevin Sheedy's side reached the fourth round with an impressive 2-0 victory away at Southampton in December.

The eventual winners of the clash between the Blues and Vale will face a tricky trip to either Arsenal or Fulham in the next round.
