Duo Credited With Goals

Osman and Pienaar retain December strikes after panel review.

Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar will both keep goals they scored in the last month after the dubious goals panel made their latest rulings.

They decreed that Pienaar's effort for Everton's winning goal at West Ham should still be attributed to the South African.

He picked up Osman's cross at Upton Park and sent it goalwards with Hammers keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen unable to keep it out of the net.

Osman himself will remain the official scorer of Everton's first against Wigan on Boxing Day. His effort from the edge of the box was goalbound before hitting Gary Caldwell and wrong-footing Ali Al-Habsi.
