Manager David Moyes has not ruled out the prospect of Seamus Coleman being added to his squad when European Champions Chelsea visit Goodison Park.

The right-back has been absent for the recent victories over West Ham United and Wigan Athletic, but will be hoping to return to face the Blues, with boss Moyes saying he ‘has a chance’ of featuring.

First Phil Jagielka then Phil Neville have deputised in both Republic of Ireland international Coleman’s and long-term injury victim Tony Hibbert’s absence, and Moyes may decide to keep faith with a side who had to overcome a spirited Wigan side in their last home outing.

Countryman Darron Gibson was withdrawn at half time against the Latics and, having had his red card against West Ham overturned, Moyes will be hoping he will not now be absent anyway. “He has got a bit of a thigh strain,” he admitted. “We will assess him and see how he is.”

Moyes is also looking forward to welcoming back Marouane Fellaini next week, as the big Belgian sits out the last of his three-match ban for the visit of Rafael Benitez’s side.

Michael LitherlandGary, they are still champions until another team win it. Lets keep up the good results against the 'top' teams at Goodison.
