Hitz Starts Boxing Day Clash

Hitzlsperger for Heitinga is only change for Wigan game.

David Moyes makes one change to his Everton side to face Wigan, with Thomas Hitzlsperger replacing John Heitinga.

The change is likely to mean Phil Jagielka reverts to centre-back following his game at right-back against West Ham.

Phil Neville, making his 500th Premier League appearance, will operate in that position - with Hitzlsperger slotting into central midfield.

The German will play alongside Darron Gibson who is able to play as he waits for the FA to adjudicate on his appeal against the red card he received at West Ham.

Victor Anichebe continues in the side after scoring in his comeback on Saturday.
