Latest City Building Goes Blue
Central Library gets the Blue Crimbo treatment.
The Liverpool Central Library became the penultimate city landmark to receive an Everton makeover on Saturday as our 12 Days Of Blue Christmas campaign continued.
Over the past 11 days, buildings and venues including the Anglican Cathedral, Liverpool Echo Arena, Goodison Park and Prince Rupert’s Tower all received a festive glow.
And on Wednesday, Everton reaffirmed our solidarity with the families of the 96 Hillsborough victims with a projection onto Anfield supporting the campaign to make the Justice Collective’s single this week’s number one.
Today drivers emerging from the Queensway tunnel were greeted by the resplendent blue light and festive message adorning the library as the #bluecrimbo team continued their quest throughout the city.
The final building will be revealed on Sunday - but here's the clue: Got any flags you want to swap? Then head down to Joe's office.
There’s still time for you to get involved in our Blue Christmas campaign – each day we're giving away great prizes and all you need to do is something to help us succeed in our Christmas challenge. Find out more here.
So continue spreading the word and follow the clues for your chance to win a raft of prizes from match tickets and signed merchandise to computer games and DVDs.
Two more landmarks will be visited this weekend in the run-up to Christmas Day, so keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for more details and clues to upcoming locations.
