Prince Rupert's Tower Turns Blue
Symbolic Everton landmark gets festive makeover.
Another iconic Everton landmark got a Blue makeover on Tuesday as our 12 Days Of Blue Christmas continued.
Having lit up Goodison Park on Monday evening, our #bluecrimbo team moved on to Prince Rupert's Tower, the Bridewell which famously features on the Club's crest.
In the build up, we gave fans an idea which landmark we would be hitting next with the clue:
"This Roundhouse was once a lock-up worthy of a Prince. If you need inspiration, follow your heart."
Plenty of you worked it out and fans have been uploading their pictures to Facebook and Twitter since the lights were switched on at 6pm.
Every day between now and Sunday 23 December, we will be adding a new building to a hitlist which already includes both the city's cathedrals, the Echo Arena and the Albert Dock.
The Blue makeovers will mostly take place between the hours of 4-8pm - although not in every case - and clues will be posted each day on evertonfc.com, Twitter and Facebook.
It's all part of our wider campaign to turn our virtual map of the city entirely Blue.
Each day, we're giving away great prizes - all you need to do is something to help us succeed in our Christmas challenge. Find out more here.
So get spreading the word and follow the clues for your chance to win a raft of prizes from match tickets and signed merchandise to computer games and DVDs.
