Cathedral Gets Blue Makeover
Felli's message beamed on the Anglican Cathedral.
A third Liverpool landmark got the #bluecrimbo treatment on Friday evening as we stepped up our quest to turn the city Blue.
This time it was the Anglican Cathedral which received a special Everton makeover as we continued to count down the 12 Days of Blue Christmas.
In the build up, we teased fans with the clue below giving you some idea where our #bluecrimbo team would be.
“The Mount of St James, but this is no horse. Completed in 1978 – it is the country’s biggest of its kind.”
Hundreds of you worked it out and supporters have been uploading their pictures to Facebook and Twitter since the lights were switched on at around 6.30pm.
Every day between now and Sunday 23 December, we will be adding a new building to a hitlist which now includes Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, the Liverpool Echo Arena and the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
The Blue makeovers will mostly take place between the hours of 4-8pm - although not in every case - and clues will be posted each day on evertonfc.com, Twitter and Facebook.
It's all part of our wider campaign to turn our virtual map of the city entirely Blue.
Each day, we're giving away great prizes - all you need to do is something to help us succeed in our Christmas challenge. Find out more here.
One way to win is to take a photo of whichever building we target on the fourth day of Blue Christmas - Saturday.
We've got one in mind, so here's the clue:
‘Where better to enjoy a kebab whilst waiting for your cab home than in the shadows of this landmark – what’s left of it, at least.’
So get spreading the word and follow the clues for your chance to win a raft of prizes from match tickets and signed merchandise to computer games and DVDS.
