Duo Set For FA Cup Replay
Everton to discover third round opponents on Tuesday evening.
Everton are finally set to discover who they will face in the third round of the FA Cup on Tuesday.
The Blues will travel to either Hereford United or Cheltenham Town, who meet in a second round replay at Edgar Street.
Last Monday's meeting at Cheltenham's Whaddon Road failed to produce a winner after a scrambled effort from United’s Josh O'Keefe cancelled out Shaun Harrad’s opener.
The victors will welcome David Moyes' men on Monday 7 January - a game that will be shown live on ESPN.
Everton have never met either side in a competitive senior game before, though a youthful Toffees XI did play a friendly against Blue Square Premier outfit Hereford earlier this year, while teenage full-back Luke Garbutt was on loan at Cheltenham last season as they narrowly missed out on promotion to League One
Full third round ticket details will be announced on evertonfc.com on Wednesday, though officials warn the Club is set to receive a limited allocation whatever tonight's result.
Last season the Blues enjoyed a fine run in the FA Cup, going all the way to the Wembley semi-finals before losing a tight game against neighbours Liverpool.
