Everton to make Whaddon Road visit in the FA Cup.

Everton will travel to Whaddon Road to play Cheltenham Town in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Blues discovered their opponents on Tuesday evening after the Robins won their second round replay against Hereford United 2-1 after extra time.

The third round tie, which will be broadcast live on ESPN, takes place on Monday 7 January.

Last season the Blues enjoyed a fine run in the FA Cup, going all the way to the Wembley semi-finals.

Cheltenham are currently riding high in League Two, sitting in the third automatic promotion position after 21 matches.

Prior to eliminating Hereford, the Gloucestershire-based club beat non-league Yate Town 3-0 in the first round of the FA Cup.
