Poppy Shirts Up For Grabs
Bid now and support the Royal British Legion.
Evertonians can now bid to win one of 14 specially-embroidered ‘poppy shirts’ worn by the Blues during their 2-1 win over Sunderland earlier this month.
The weekend of Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 November saw football clubs up and down the country come together to honour the many servicemen and women who have represented Great Britain in combat.
Everton held a minute’s silence ahead of their meeting with the Black Cats – a contest which also saw the Toffees wear home shirts with the symbolic poppy emblazoned on the chest.
The 14 members of the squad who took part in the fixture have all signed the shirts they wore that afternoon and donated them to the Royal British Legion for a special fundraising auction.

The auction closes on the first item - Nikica Jelavic's No.7 shirt - on Friday, with the hammer set to come down on the final item - debutant Thomas Hitzlsperger's No.16 shirt - on Sunday.
All proceeds from the auction will remain with the British Legion.
