Moyes Reassures Fans
Boss says he will discuss new contract when the time is right.
David Moyes has reassured Everton fans over his contract situation - insisting he will sit down with chairman Bill Kenwright when the time is right.
Moyes' existing deal expires at the end of the 2012/13 season but the Scot says he is happy to wait before sorting out his future so he can focus on ensuring the Blues’ recent good form continues.
"As far as I'm concerned, I've got a great relationship with the Chairman, we speak every day, and when the time's right we'll sit down and look at what we're going to do," said Moyes.
"I can understand why at this time people would say it is quite close. But all I can ask and say is, I've been here over 10 years now, we've worked really hard together with the Club and will continue to do so, and we'll wait. And it might be that we wait until later in the year before we sort things out.
"I've always been excited about being the manager of Everton. It's a great Club that's had great players through the years and I think it's got good players this year as well.
"I'm not overly concerned at the minute, but I can understand maybe that people in the media will keep asking the question. I'm in no great hurry."
