Ladies Trio Depart

Fara Williams, Becky Easton and Natasha Dowie to leave the Blues.

Ladies Trio Depart

Everton Ladies have today announced that three first-team players have left the club.

England internationals Fara Williams, Natasha Dowie and Becky Easton have all departed following the end of the WSL season last month.

Midfielder Williams, who has been with the Club since 2004, was part of the League Cup and FA Cup-winning teams in 2008 and 2010 respectively - and leaves the Club by mutual consent.

Striker Dowie, who joined in 2007 from Charlton, will always be synonymous for her injury time-winning goal in the 2010 FA Cup Final, has rejected an offer of a new contract at the Club and has expressed a desire to move on.

Veteran Easton has been a stalwart for the Blues in three separate spells. She initially signed with the Ladies under their previous guise of Leasowe Pacific but moved to Liverpool after two seasons.

However, she was soon back and helped the Toffees to the league title in 1997/98.

She joined Doncaster Rovers Belles in 2000, spending four years in Yorkshire, before returning to the Toffees for a third and final spell.

She enjoyed further glory in a Royal Blue shirt adding League Cup and FA Cup successes.

Everton Ladies would like to thank the trio for their contribution to the success of the Club and wish them all the best in their future careers.
