Mirallas To Have Scan
Midfielder will be assessed after picking up hamstring strain.
Kevin Mirallas
Winger Kevin Mirallas will undergo a scan on the hamstring injury which forced him off during Saturday’s 2-1 win over Sunderland.
The Belgian was a livewire on both flanks before limping off before the interval and Everton manager David Moyes is hopeful his summer signing won't be sidelined too long.
He said: "It looks as if [Kevin] has maybe got a slight hamstring injury. I don't think it's too bad but until it's been scanned we wouldn't be able to say what it was.
"He'll be disappointed he had to come off, as we were.
"It was a blow because whenever he got the ball he looked a real threat.
"You've got to say, every time he's been on the pitch for us he's looked a real threat, either creating chances or looking as if he's going to score, and he probably looked the most likely to score in the first 30 minutes today."
Mirallas was due to meet up with the Belgium squad ahead of their midweek friendly against Romania but the injury means he will now remain on Merseyside.

Graeme BrownhillLet's hope it is no longer than a couple of weeks, we will need him for some tough games coming up and if we have Super Kev in the team we look like we will score at will. Get well soon mate. COYB!
